p_mayos.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, Sam Mayo was an English music hall entertainer, pianist and songwriter born in London.
His career started by singing in pubs and clubs with his brothers Ted and Maurice Cowan. As a music hall entertainer he was billed as "The Immobile One". His stage dress was a long overcoat or dressing gown whilst he sang deadpan at the piano. The greater part of his material was written by himself.
He died in Charing Cross, London.
