I enjoyed singing Still Waters whilst a member of the Tyneside Maritime Chorus between 2011-2014. It was written by Ian Hartland and laments the passing of England's inland waterways as places of work. A fitting song to be included in a progamme with the likes of Captain Webb and The Bolinder Boatman.
