Oh, Susanna

As a folk musician in Germany, it's easy to get mixed up because there is a German sea song called O Susanna (wunderschöne Anna!) but is all about "Oh Susanna, wunderschöne Anna!". It is very confusing because both songs are equally well known.
We used to play "Oh Susanna", a Stephen Collins Foster composition, in the Idle Fellows chiefly as an instrumental. Wilfried Drygala was very good on his banjo (aptly), Brian Kelly and Bernd Gerken would strum their guitars whilst I would do a little tootling on the penny-whistle. All good fun.
The version that I sing today (rarely) can be found in a German songbook Die Mundorgel.
