Champagne Charlie

I've known this pub song Champagne Charlie since childhood. The original was composed by Alfred Lee in 1868 and written by George Leybourne. The version I sing comes from Busking for Special Occaisions which is actually just the chorus, probably a relic of a music-hall song, and is generally sung in a medley of similar songs. A full version is given in Great Cockney Songs Vol. 1. At times, as is my want and as is in the recording given in the *.mp3 link above, I substitute Champagne Geoffrey for Champagne Charlie.
