This album contains 12 rags derived from the Recorder Ragtime Music Series. The recorder solo adaptations have been written especially with those recorder soloists in mind who want to fully enjoy the ragtime melodies without necessarily being member of a recorder ensemble. They retain all the original keys and range scales and are just as demanding as the full versions. In some of these selected pieces, slight editing has been required to maintain melodic flow. Corresponding notes are given where this has taken place.
