That Teasin' Rag is the two-step version arranged by William H. Tyers of a song of the same name written by Jordan for one Eddie Leonard. The Original Dixieland Jazz Band pirated this rag as their Original Dixieland One-Step, still played as a popular jazz number even today, in a 1917 recording. It is a lively piece which recorder ensembles will also enjoy performing.
A tempo of 90 crotchets/min. is suggested.
That Teasin' Rag was published by Jos. W. Stern & Co., New York, USA.
There are also tenor solo, treble solo and sextet versions of this item.
