Harry Anderson (1857-1918)
Last updated: 08.06.25
It is surprising that so little is known about this performer considering the large number of works located. All that can presently (January 2024) be gleaned about Harry Anderson from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was presumably a British music hall performer who has been featured on 27 works published between 1852 and 1912.
He is known to have been pictured on Oh! The Night Birds (1896) music by A.J. Mills, co-author Bennett Scott, and published by Francis, Day & Hunter, London W.C.2, England.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this performer.

The loss of this valuable resource is very sad and a mystery.
