Length: approx. 3½ mins. Sounds best if treble and 1st tenor are doubled.
Excepting the last section, there is not much ragtime to be found in this jolly march. Its main claim to fame is that it was part of the Sousa Band repertoire which brought Joplin a much wider audience in white America.

This recorder adaption is dedicated to Mrs Esther Church and the Parkside School Recorder Ensemble in remembrance of a workshop held there in October, 2001.
