According to the Internet source given below, Edward George Power Biggs was a British-born American concert organist and recording artist.
He was born in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, England; and studied in London at the Royal Academy of Music under G.D. Cunningham. Biggs immigrated to the United States in 1930. In 1932, he took up a post at Christ Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he lived for the rest of his life.
Of ragtime interest his use of the John Challis pedal harpsichord on which he recorded works by both
Scott Joplin and
Johann Sebastian Bach.
