Length: approx. 3¼ mins.. Sounds best with doubled 2nd tenor and bass and has four sections using major keys E-flat, B-flat, E-flat and A-flat.
After the enormously successful Maple Leaf Rag (1899), Peacherine Rag had its cover used to hail Scott Joplin "The King of Ragtime Writers" for the first time. Whilst a little pale compared with its predecessors it remains a fun piece to play.
