Thomas W. Thurban  (1874-1969)

According to the Internet source given below, Thomas W. Thurban was a British composer and violinist.
Prior to the First World War, he was 1st violinist in the Oxford Music Hall orchestra for 15 years. His works include coon songs, cake-walts, ragtime music as well as piano suites and pieces for concert and brass bands. In 1930 he was appointedmusic director of the London Coliseum and focused on the accordion. From 1935 to 1939 he wrote various technical recommendations for the instrument in the Rhythm magazine.
