While the link below documents Frank Lynne's career with The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company very little else was presently (March 2021) found by from sheet music covers and by Internet searching about him. He had 2 works published in 1904, one of which, Trifling Occurrences published by Chas. Sheard & Co., carries his amusing portrait on it's front cover as shown on the left.
A fun-fact is that he is grandfather of Clive Dunn (Lance Corporal Jones) of Dad's Army fame. Does and surfer see a resemblance?
