Geo. S. Irish

Overview

Nothing is known about Geo. S. Irish other than those bare facts which can be gleaned from the cover of the original sheet music of his only known work, Premier, a march and two-step, published by Jerome H. Remick in 1915. From the cover it seems that he was the leader of the Premier Quartette (Every man a star - so the blurb goes). The other members of the quartet are named as E. Doup, N. Terano and J.R. Heavey MCR.
