p_gilsonl.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, (née Lydia Deagon) was an American comedian and vaudeville singer born in Basel, Switzerland.
Billed as "The Little Magnet" and due to her popularity, she was much sought-after and paid by Tin Pan Alley publishers to promote their sheet music sales. Just one such item is Just a Plain Little Irish Girl (1911), words and music by William Cahill and published by F. B. Haviland Publishing Co. Inc., New York, USA.
Just before her death she made at least four recordings on the Edison Amberol label. She died in New York City.
