She made her stage debut in H.M.S. Pinafore (1878) and her New York debut as Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance (1879), Her first variety show appearance was at the Metropolitan (1888). Other appearances were in the Alhambra, London Pavilion, Tivoli, and Paragon.
Her portrait on the left is from a cigarette card published by Allen & Ginter's of Richmond, Virginia.
