Löis Barker
Last updated: 28.04.22
p_barkerl.jpgAll that can presently (March 2022) be gleaned about Löis Barker from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she is the composer/performer of some 19 works published between 1914 and 1925.
On some of those covers, she is pictured leaning over a grand piano facing her wordsmith and fellow performer/husband Percy Tarling. The portrait on the left is from the cover of When You're on the Wireless (1923) published by Francis, Day & Hunter, London W.C.2, England.
Particularly poignant is her The Bloke Wot's Left Be'ind (1916), words Percy Tarling, published also by Francis, Day & Hunter
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this composer.
