All that can presently (October 2023) be gleaned about Miss Elizabeth Hughes (active 1816-1828) from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she was presumably a British actress/singer who has been featured on 3 works published between 1819 and 1830.Her portrait on the left is taken from a mezzotint, published in 1828 by Thomas Howell Jones, after William McCall which is held in the National Portrait Gallery (NPG D3103).
