Carola Heißenbüttel introduced me to this item when in the Klingende Runde für jung und alt sometime in 1979-1980 and it was occasionally played, and typically, in the Advent period. I have a special memory of playing it with The Schwanewede Recorder Consort at St. Luciae Church, Meyenburg in November 1982.
It is a pretty and pretty short piece ideally suited for beginners.
