According to the Internet source given below, Lena Bjerstedt, was born in Halmstad. She studied music at Malmö Music High School and Malmö Academy of Music where she qualified as a church musician. A founder member of Flauto Dolce Recorder Quintet, she also plays in other ensembles and presently teaches recorder in Kristianstad.
