This piece was presented to me by Christian Blümel, the editor of 36 Little Pieces for 2 Trumpets during a Reunion with Blue Monday which took place in Emsdetten and Münster on 3rd and 4th March 2001, respectively. to mark the start of the Bremen Recorder Touring Company's 2001 world tour.
This work was written for 7 voices namely zwei Clarini, Violine, 3 Violen, Violone und Cembalo but Christian however the clarini could be replaced by recorders. It is certainly a pleasant enough work without any insurmountable problems for recorder players.
