Nicolaus A. Huber  (1939-)

According to the Internet source given below, Nicolaus A. Huber, is a German composer born in Passau, Bavaria. He studied piano under Oskar Koebel at the Munich Musikhochschule from 1958 to 1962. He also studied composition there from 1962 to 1963 under Franz Xaver and then under Günter Bialas from 1964 to 1967. He underwent further studies with Josef Anton Riedl (1965-66), Karlheinz Stockhausen (1967) and Luigi Nono (1967-8) . In 1969 he became Professor for music theory and analysis at the Folkwang-Hochschule, Essen where he also became professor for composition in 1971.
