According to the Internet source given below, Margaret came to the recorder as an adult after having earlier learned piano and classical guitar as a child. She took private lessons with David Cooke and Jim O'Malley before going to Napier University (LLCM in 1991). She taught recorder in the at the Rudolf Steiner School, Edinburgh at a primary school, Musselburgh, and gave private lessons.
