Last updated: 08.04.24
All that can presently (April 2024) be gleaned about Art Fitch from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was presumably an American composer, who together with Kay Fitch and Bert Lowe co-authored just one work namely Sweetheart of All My Dreams (1928) published by Shapiro, Bernstein & Co., New York & Chicago, USA.
It has been covered by numerous artists including Thelonious Monk.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this composer.
Many thanks to surfer Alan-Itsyk Silver for drawing my attention to the Theolonius Monk version which he describes as "the most fun/discordant ". Thanks a million Alan!
