Georges Auric  (1899-1983)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Georges Auric was a French composer, youngest member of the "six". Has written much for ballet and for films; also piano concerto, piano sonata etc. Administrator of the two Paris opera houses 1962-8.
