p_victore.jpgAll that can presently (August 2021) be gleaned about Ethel Victor from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she has been featured on 5 works published between 1880 and 1884.
Of interest is They Say I Am Pretty (1882) words & music by I. George, and published by Willey & Co, London, England. The front cover of this work has a charming portrait of her shown on the left.
The 15th September 1887 edition of the Islington Gazette describes Ethel Victor as a "dashing serio-comic" when appearing along with Dan Leno and others at The Collins Music Hall.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this performer.

The loss of this valuable resource is very sad and a mystery.
