p_brandtn.jpgAll that can presently (November 2023) be gleaned about Norma Brandt from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she was presumably an American dancer who has been featured on just 2 works published between 1917 and 1918.
Her portrait on the left is taken from Sand Dunes (1918) words & music by Byron Gay, and published by Will Rossiter, Chicago, Illinois, USA. Its cover refers to her being America's rising danseuse [sic] who originally interpreted this "Dance of the Sand Dunes".
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this performer.
