These sonatas are very much at the core of the Jutta Köster (neé Meyer)/Grainger Recorder Duo and we have played all of them hundreds of times in private and publicly on a number of occasions. One quite notable occasion was at a Sammartini evening on 19th November 1994 at Wicki Kirchgäßner's Weinhaus in Vegesack, Bremen. I also have a tape of made by Jutta Meyer which she kindly gave to me so that I could always practice with her when on my travels. It was thus possible that she (on tape) and I (live) played at a private New Year Party in Dubai also in 1994.The sonatas comprise:

I have also played these sonatas, especially Sonata IX, with The Vegesack Double Quartet, Bettina Kiefner and Nanette Wiethölter. I like all of them almost equally well with perhaps the edge going to Sonata IX.
