Look and ListenLength: approx. 5 mins. Sounds best if the 1st tenor and bass are doubled.
Neomê is a suite which comprises 2 waltzes with a 16-bar introduction and a coda in which strains from the 1st waltz are repeated. The waltzes are delightfully syncopated and please with many delicate touches and complexities. At times sombre but immediately contrasted with bright flute-like passages.
Neomê was published by Whitney-Warner Publishing Co., Detroit, Michigan, USA.
A tempo of 150 crotchets/min. is suggested.
