 Hans Chemin-Petit (1902-1981)

According to the Internet source given below, Hans Chemin-Petit was a German composer and conductor. He wrote mostly choral works as well as operas, two symphonies, a cello concerto, a violin concerto and the full-length psalm triptychon for five-part mixed choir and orchestra of 1962. The organisations which he conducted include Berlin's Freie Volksbühne, Berlin Philharmonic, the Rebling Choral Society, Magdeburg, Berlin Philharmonic Choir and the Municipal Choir of Potsdam. Chemin-Petit also held teaching positions at the Berlin Akademie für Kirchen- und Schulmusik.
