Sweet Genevieve
Last updated: 11.10.23
Sweet Genevieve is one of a number of songs that I learned whilst trying to learn to play the piano and can be found in the Regina Song Album No. 17. In this category, it's one of my favourites. My piano playing was so poor that I had to sing it very slowly, a habit I've continued with the concertina. This combined with my imitation of a drunk makes a very comic effect, something which was certainly not the intention of its composer, a certain H. Tucker according to the album notes.
