Sweet Betsy is a jolly amusing account of how the West was won and finally how our heroine, Sweet Betsy, a female emancipator if ever there was one, was well satisfied with her alimony. The tune, a pretty straight-forward Villikins Dinah, is practically the same as for Dammed Idle Fellows. The version I sing can be found in Lieder, Songs und Gospels 3.
