Sugartime
Last updated: 11.10.23
"Sugartime" is a jolly, simple one verse song with an interlude which was often sung when I was in the Royal Navy. The theme is about loving around the clock, that is to say in the morning, the evening and at supper-time, and just to make quite sure, all the time. This sentiment was certainly shared by all the lecherous young (an old) sailors of my immediate acquaintance. The version that I now sing can be found in 101 Pub Favourites for Buskers.
