Per Spelmann
Last updated: 11.10.23
Per Spelmann is a charming Norwegian folk-song which appeals to children. It's all about Per who had only one cow which he swapped for a violin. To get his cow back, he had to swap again! While having and playing his violin, the cow laughed, the lads danced and the girls cried. Per mused that should he grow old, he would never swap the violin again.
I learned this song in 2010 when introduced to it by none other than that Norway fan, Nina Kreft.
