Little duckie (xiāo xiāo yā zi)
Last updated: 22.01.22
In their cultural notes in Sing Chinese, Cindy Mao and Ma Baolin explain that ducks are one of the most favourite animals for many children. Therefore there are quite a number of Chines children's songs about ducks. Singing this song, one should note how the Chinese say "ga-ga-ga" instead of "quack-quack". The children may also choose to act out the movements of the ducks walking and jumping in the water.
