I first sang Fisher a few times when joining the Tyneside Maritime Chorus in 2011. The lyrics appear to be almost the same as arranged by Tim Eriksen. For my own pleasure I sing it using the tune provided by good old Mudcat under the title of A Sailor's Life which was recorded by Fairport Convention on Unhalfbricking.
It is another doleful ditty, but with a pretty tune, of young woman lamenting on her "heart's delight" being lost at sea.
