The Dunstan Lullaby

According to notes given in Tyneside Maritime Chorus Songbook, The Dustan Lullaby was collected in from Dustan Village, near Alnwick, Northumberland from the Thompson Family repertoire dated in the 1850's. It was still being sung in the village as a lullaby at the time when Ralph Vaughan Williams was collecting folk-song material.
For a definitive version, at least for my taste, one cannot find better than the beautiful rendering by Benny Graham given below.
