Don't Dilly Dally on the Way
Last updated: 11.10.23
"Don't Dilly Dally on the Way" is another music-hall song that belongs to my childhood and could often be heard on the radio and in early music hall TV programmes in the 1950's and 1960's. It was written by Charles Collins & Fred Leigh. The version I sing can be found in 101 Pub Favourites for Buskers. The song is an enjoyable tale of a lady getting lost when moving house.
