Catherine Fleming

rpflemingc.jpgCatherine Fleming is an English recorder player and a member of the Byrde Recorder Consort, The Flautadors and founder member of the medieval and renaissance ensemble Concanentes. According to The Flautadors web site, she graduated from the University of Hull in 1995 with a BMus Honours degree. She undertook postgraduate study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Pamela Thorby, Philip Pickett and Gail Hennessy.
She teaches at Eton College, Marlborough College and the West London Centre for Alexander Technique and regularly gives workshops in the Alexander Technique to musicians. She is also an external examiner for the Welsh College of Music and Drama and Trinity College of Music.
