The suite consists of five movements: Entry Dance, Rondeau, Fanfare, Dance for the Fairies, Hornpipe and Chaconne. I well remember plying this with The Vegesack Double Quartet lead by Heidi Suhrlie in 1984. As a bass player, I had an easy time of it and very much enjoyed the whole work. It was performed in public both in Vegesack and when touring Yorkshire.
