Before coming across this arrangement of Moonlight Serenade, I always associated this work with the unforgettable Glenn Miller who I no doubt first heard on radio at the end of the 1940's. This is a delightful piece of mood music well-suited to beginners and as such was much played in Blue Monday by the less-gifted members.
