Fred L. Ryder
Last updated: 01.02.24
Virtually nothing is known about Fred L. Ryder other than those bare facts which can be gleaned from the covers of his original sheet music. He was apparently a composer of popular music which included marches, waltzes, songs etc. He is perhaps best known for the still recorded St. Louis Exposition March (1904). Of ragtime interest is his Jag-Time Johnson's Rag-Time March (1901).
