Last updated: 02.04.23
According to The Oxford Companion to Music, Osbert Parsley [Parslie, Perseley and other spellings] was for over half a century a choir-man of Norwich Cathedral and a composer of church music, some of which exists in arrangements for viols. There is a highly eulogistic epitaph to him on one of the pillars of the nave of the cathedral.
