According to the Internet source given below, Friedel Albrecht Marcuse [Albrecht Marcus] was a naturalized French composer, author, pianist and music publisher born in Breslau.
Of Hungarian descent, he grew up in Wroclaw. He studied law but also worked as a bar pianist and pianist on operetta performances. He used his pseudonym Rolf Marbot from 1927 and wrote over 300 popular songs, among them Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus (words by Bert Reisfeld).
He died in Cannes.
