According to the Internet source given below, Mischa Käser was born in Zurich. He studied guitar in Winterthur, lute in Basel and composition both with H. U. Lehmann, Zurich, and R. Moser, Basel. He is involved not only in composing and teaching, but also in experimental music theatre.
