Joe Hollander

Overview

Joe [Joseph M.] Hollander is only known from the covers and scores of his dozen or so published works. He was active between 1903 and 1916 writing for New York publishers, principally Maurice Shapiro and Harry von Tilzer. Of ragtime interest are his Hear That Orchestra Rag (1912) (words: Jeff T. Branen) and Two-Key Rag (1916) which was also published as a song.
