According to the Internet source given below, Kurt Hessenberg was a German composer who was born and died in Frankfurt. He studied in Leipzig (1927-31) with Günther Raphael (composition) and Robert Teichmüller (piano). From 1933, he taught at the Musikhochschule, Frankfurt remaining there throughout his career, and was made professor in 1953. His works include 4 symphonies, other orchestral and concerto works, chamber music, organ compositions, choral and vocal works, and an opera.
