Voted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame, his most popular song was probably Baby Face (1926) published by Jerome H. Remick & Co., New York & Detroit, USA whilst Margie (1920's) with music by Con Conrad and J. Russel Robinson became a jazz standard.
He died in Miami, Florida.
