All that can presently (October 2024) be gleaned about
Virginia Burt from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she was presumably an American composer singer who has made at least 33 recordings on the Victor, OKeh, Edison labels between 1921 and 1924. Notable is her Hawaiian steel guitar vocalisations as given on
Down Among the Sleepy Hills of Ten-Ten-Tennessee (1923) music by
George W. Meyer, words by Sam M Lewis; Joe Young and published by
Irving Berlin Inc., New York, USA
