According to the Internet source given below, Rob du Bois was a Dutch composer, pianist, and jurist born in Amsterdam.
Of recorder interest is that when Michael Vetter came to Holland as a recorder player looking for composers to write new works for him he was introduced du Bois.This resulted in du Bois writing Spiel und Zwischenspiel (1962) for recorder and piano. a work employing very high notes, harmonics, multiphonics, white noise, glissandos that Vetter called "differentiated vibration techniques".
