p_averyd.jpgAll that can presently (November 2023) be gleaned about Dan Avery from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was presumably an American composer/performer who has been featured on just one work namely There's Only One and Dat Ain't You (1898) words & music by Fred C. Farrel, and published by Langhorne Music Co., Norfolk, Virginia, USA
Together with Charles Hart, they published two works between 1904 and 1910.
His portrait on the left is taken from My Bunch of Sweetness (1904) published by Leo Feist, New York, USA.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this composer.
